MS, LPC
Brief info

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for supporting individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, anger issues, low self-esteem, and school/job transitions. I believe in the power of relationships and collaborate closely with my clients to facilitate their growth. While I primarily draw from an Adlerian therapy approach, I incorporate techniques from person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapies to meet each client's unique needs. The counseling process can be challenging, but I am dedicated to meeting clients where they are and walking with them on their journey toward healing.

My specialization lies in working with children and adolescents, particularly those aged 3-10. I have extensive experience with individuals diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Recognizing the importance of play in a child’s development, I utilize play therapy, sand tray therapy, and activity therapy to build rapport and help children work through challenges. My background includes working in schools, supporting families experiencing divorce and separation, and assisting parents involved with Child Protective Services.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Community and Agency Counseling from the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing ball with our two dogs, traveling, baking, and reading novels.
